Directions to The Sugarhouse

1. Going North on Interstate 91 in Vermont, exit at Exit 14.

2. Turn right onto Route 113. You will go down a hill traveling East to
Route 5 that parallels the Connecticut River. You are now in the town of
East Thetford. (DISTANCE: 1.35 MILES.)

3. Turn left onto Route 5. You will be traveling North. On this leg you
will pass through the town of North Thetford where there is a sharp left
turn but remains Route 5. Go to the small town of Ely where there is a
yellow and brown train station on the right. Almost immediately Route 244
will be on the left. (DISTANCE: 4.9 MILES.)

4. Turn left onto Route 244. Now going West you will go up the hill from
the Connecticut River valley to where you will see Lake Fairlee on the left.
Go to Blood Brook Road that starts on the right. (DISTANCE: 2.6 MILES.)

5. Turn right onto Blood Brook Road. You are now going North on a tar
road that turns into a dirt road. At 1.8 miles you will see a house on the
side of a hill with lots of grass and apple trees. That's Grasshopper Hill.
(DISTANCE: 1.8 MILES.)

6. At the mailbox with the number of 1874, turn right and head-up
the paved drive. Take your first left and that drive will take you to The
Sugarhouse.
